Since 2008 CEPD has been providing high-quality PE provisions in schools in the Chester area.
Starting in a handful of schools, we now work with over 45 primary and secondary schools in Chester and Cheshire West.
We offer extracurricular sports clubs, PPA and CPD curriculum cover, PE advisory service, lunchtime clubs and support, school holiday activity camps, and sports-based birthday parties.
We have over 35 qualified and experienced staff members, ranging from primary and secondary teachers to specialist sports coaches, all of who share a passion for sport and see children thrive and develop in a sporting environment.
All members of our staff are insured, first aid trained, safeguarded and have an enhanced DBS.
At C.E.P.D we are constantly looking out for enthusiastic, dynamic individuals to join our coaching and childcare team. Applicants must have a desire to see children thrive and develop and must be organised and approachable with a passion for sport and getting children active! Experience is preferred but not essential with candidates ideally having a minimum of a level 2 qualification in a sport. However, experience can be gained working alongside one of our senior coaches.
Whether you're new to coaching or looking to take that next step in your career, get in touch!

CEPD have been a fantastic addition to our school sports provision for a number of years. The outstanding staff have inspired our pupils to have a real love of sport and our teaching staff have benefited greatly from their expertise
CEPD is a professionally organised company, reliable and always willing to help, providing first class service. The PE curriculum is taught to a very high standard across both key stages, by leaders who are friendly and approachable to both children and all staff. This also applies to any sports offered as extra-curricular activities before and after school.
CEPD holiday camps run varied and well-planned activities which are always lots of fun for the kids to keep them entertained all day. The staff are professional, friendly, and my children always have an action-packed and enjoyable day. I’ve found it’s a good way for them to meet new friends, get some exercise and have some time away from devices too!
CEPD provides exceptionally knowledgeable and professional coaches who seek to embed themselves as if a permanent member of staff. The quality of teaching from the coaches we use at Boughton Heath Academy has been excellent, and their impact on sports standards have been immense. I would strongly recommend schools looking for physical education coaches and teachers that they consider using CEPD company . . . I trust them completely to provide high-quality PE, sport and after schools clubs.
I would highly recommend the CEPD holiday club. The coaches are friendly, fun and provide a variety of activities to cater for all ages at a reasonable cost. Both my son (10) and daughter (6) have been attending over the past year and love it, have made new friends and are never bored!
Since employing CEPD sports coaches to lead PE lessons, the schools sporting performance has improved considerably as a result of the high quality of provision provided.
